Martin, Magnuson, McCarthy and Kenney attorneys, staff and family members participated in a Back to School Backpack program

This year, Martin, Magnuson, McCarthy and Kenney attorneys, staff and family members participated in a Back to School Backpack program for children affected by domestic violence and/or poverty. MMMK provided 15 children living in shelters with new backpacks. We partnered with Asian Task Force Against Domestic Violence, Casa Myrna, Harbor COV, Project Hope, St. Mary’s Center for Women and Children and Transition House.

Everyone who volunteered to participate was assigned a child and given a list of the childs’ needs and preferences. Each child received a backpack tailor-made to specifically match their interests, containing not only school supplies necessary for the coming year, but a complete new outfit for the first day back in school. Often these children have been relocated on very short notice and with only the clothes on their backs, so the gift of a new outfit and school supplies brings joy to the children and even more joy to their mothers.

MMM&K has obtained more than 100 jury trial verdicts in favour of our clients.
Our partners combine more than 250 years
of collective litigation experience.
