Stephanie Gazda is a trial attorney who focuses her practice in toxic tort, products liability, and general liability matters. Stephanie believes that teamwork is essential to providing quality service and efficiently developing a defense strategy for every client.
Stephanie has been involved in asbestos litigation for ten years as both a paralegal and an attorney. She has served as local and national counsel for industrial, marine and aviation companies in toxic tort products liability and premises liability actions. Stephanie has defended these companies in every aspect of litigation, including fact and expert discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and settlement negotiations. She has handled asbestos claims involving shipyards, chemical plants, marine equipment, aircraft components, boilers, piping, insulation, joint compounds, wiring, general contractors, and commercial suppliers. In addition, Stephanie has helped streamline the discovery process by assisting with document collection and management for national clients.
Stephanie has also defended construction professionals and businesses in all phases of construction defect litigation, including multi-party and complex litigation. She has represented contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, developers and owners against premises liability, construction area accidents, product liability and strict liability claims. Stephanie has helped develop strategies to minimize the client’s liability under the contract and obtain the most cost effective resolution while protecting the client’s rights at all times.
Stephanie received her law degree from Suffolk University Law School. While in law school, Stephanie worked for the Norfolk District Attorney’s Office where she represented the
Commonwealth of Massachusetts at arraignments, pretrial hearings and trials in criminal matters. Stephanie was also a member of the Suffolk University Law School National Trial Team where she participated in national mock trial competitions.
