Timothy A. Malec is an attorney at Martin, Magnuson, McCarthy, & Kenney. Mr. Malec has been litigating cases in Massachusetts for almost thirty years. Mr. Malec’s practice focuses on the defense of medical malpractice cases, professional licensing and regulatory practices, and general liability cases.
Mr. Malec is a graduate of Boston College and the University of Pennsylvania Law School. Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Malec worked as an Assistant District Attorney at the Norfolk and Suffolk County District Attorney’s Offices, where he tried hundreds of cases, including dozens of serious felony matters such as murder, armed robbery, arson, and drug trafficking. He also worked in the Office of the Attorney General of Massachusetts, where he served as the Deputy Division Chief for the Insurance and Unemployment Fraud Division. Prior to joining MMMK, he worked at one of the nation’s largest medical malpractice insurers as a manager.
