MMM&K Welcomes Several New Paralegals/Legal Assistants to the Firm this Year

John Nilles graduated from The College of the Holy Cross with a BA in Environmental Studies. He worked as a paralegal at a disability and personal injury law firm in Boston for two years before joining MMM&K in March, 2022. John joined the medical malpractice and personal injury team focusing on professional liability, product liability, and general liability.

Colby Bowers graduated from The College of the Holy Cross with a BA, double majoring in Psychology and Italian Studies. For the last two summers, she worked as a Mortgage Services intern for Digital Federal Credit Union in Marlborough. She joined MMM&K in July as a paralegal on the medical malpractice team, working with attorneys Paul McTague, Esq. and Lindsay Weber, Esq.

Madison Sarka graduated from Boston College with a BA in Political Science and a minor in Global Public Health. She previously interned in Portland, Maine in U.S. Senator Susan Collins’ office and in the Cumberland County District Attorney’s office. She joined MMM&K in July as a paralegal on the products liability team focusing on product liability, general liability, and toxic tort matters.

Elise Lambert graduated Magna Cum Laude from Bates College with a BA degree with honors distinction in Politics, and minors in History and Spanish. She also has general education concentrations in Law and Society, and Race, Identity, and Ethnicity. Elise began working as a paralegal/legal assistant in August on the medical malpractice team and works on product liability, premises liability, construction, large motor vehicle cases, professional liability and land owner disputes.

Caitlin Maley graduated from Boston College with a BA in International Studies and a minor in Management and Leadership from the Carroll School of Management. She previously interned with the Worcester County District Attorney and completed research with the Boston College Carroll School of Management regarding workplace dynamics. She joined MMM&K in April as a paralegal on the products liability team focusing on product liability, general liability, and toxic tort matters.

Rebecca Bower graduated from The College of the Holy Cross in the Spring of 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and English. During the summer of 2021, she worked as a court intern for the Van Buren County Courts in Paw Paw, Michigan. Rebecca joined MMM&K in June this year as a paralegal on the medical malpractice team.

Sarah Smith graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 2021 with a BA in Criminology and Criminal Justice and then got her Paralegal Certification through Boston University. She used to work for the Rhode Island Office of the Attorney General in their Bureau of Criminal Identification unit. She joined MMM&K in September after moving to Somerville as a paralegal working in medical malpractice under Attorney Stephen M. O’Shea.

Jordyn Arakelian graduated from The College of the Holy Cross with a BA in International Studies and a minor in French. She was also a member of the lacrosse team during her four years at Holy Cross. Last summer, she worked as a social media intern for the Canadian Consulate in Boston and helped to create content for all of the Consulate’s social media platforms. She joined MMM&K in June as a paralegal for the medical malpractice team and works on both medical malpractice and hospitality matters.

Isabella Marciano graduated from The College of the Holy Cross with a BA in History and a minor in Russian and Eastern European Studies. She previously interned at the Law Office of Christopher Q. Davis in New York City and worked for the Holy Cross Department of Accessibility Services while a student there. She joined MMM&K in August as a paralegal and legal assistant for the medical malpractice team.

Yoko Hsieh graduated from Brandeis University with a BA in Politics and minors in Legal Studies and Anthropology. She previously interned at the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education under the Investigations of Teacher Misconduct unit. She joined MMM&K in September as a Legal Assistant/Paralegal on the medical malpractice team. She was born and raised in Los Angeles and still can’t get use to the brutal New England winters.

Not Pictured: Brooke Medley graduated from the University of Vermont with a BA in Sociology with a focus in Crime and Criminal Justice and a minor in Biology. She previously interned at Chittenden County’s State Attorney’s office and Public Defender’s office. Before coming to work at MMM&K, Brooke worked as a paralegal at an immigration law firm and joined MMM&K in July as a medical malpractice paralegal.
