Douglas A. Robertson is a Partner at Martin, Magnuson, McCarthy & Kenney, representing individuals and businesses in Civil Trial matters. Attorney Robertson graduated Cum Laude from Bowdoin College in 1984 and obtained his Juris Doctorate from Washington Lee University School of Law in 1988. After clerking for the Justices of the Superior Court of Massachusetts from 1988-1989, he joined Martin, Magnuson, McCarthy & Kenney.

Attorney Robertson’s practice areas include product liability, premises liability, construction, large motor vehicle cases, professional liability and land owner disputes. Attorney Robertson represents clients in Massachusetts State and Federal Courts, as well as New Hampshire State and Federal Courts.

Attorney Robertson also has expertise in mold and toxic exposure cases, both those involving property damage and bodily injury. He has also handled proceedings before local Conservation Commissions, and the Environmental and Protection Department and before the Commonwealth Office of Appeals and Dispute Resolution.

He has tried cases to verdict in a variety of matters involving breach of contracts for municipalities, mortgage disputes for lending institutions, multi-vehicle collisions, premises liability matters, product liability matters, and medical malpractice cases. He has extensive experience representing product manufacturers concerning a variety of design and manufacturing matters. Attorney Robertson’s cases range from smaller matters to cases involving multiple decedents and devastating permanent injuries, and he is comfortable and experienced presenting complex matters to juries.
